Govt urged to create oil reserve
WITH the conflict between Iran and Israel pushing up the price of oil worldwide, a congressman is proposing that the government set up a Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) to stabilize the country's fuel supply and prices. Outgoing Camarines Sur Rep. Luis Raymund Villafuerte said in a statement on Friday that Filipinos are "expectedly anxious and jumpy" that prices could skyrocket in the weeks or months ahead after Israel and Iran launched missile strikes at each other. NEW YORK, United States — Tesla announced Friday that it signed an agreement to build its first grid-scale energy storage power station project in mainland China. The project will help with the flexible adjustment of grid resources, and "effectively solve pressures relating to urban power supply," Tesla said in a post to the Chinese social media platform Weibo.
